Many say that enduring the long, brutal Chicago winter is worth every bit of the Chicago summer.

Today I can vouch for that. I completely forgot how good 80 degrees feels and how much more fun exploring is in the sun.

People flooded the streets of Wrigleyville. Seasonal depressions lifted, and we were all a little giddy.

I bought a fedora in ode to the sun, and now we're making tacos in ode to the fedora. Here's to our first summer in Chicago!
